The Harlem Globetrotter's Management, through United Way of Southeast Mississippi, made discount tickets available to community nonprofit organizations.
The Pinebelt Association for Families took advantage of this generous offer and was able to take 104 grandparents and grandchildren to the game.
As a special treat, our grandfamilies visited with the Harlem Globetrotters in a pre game "Harlem Globetrotter University" where players talked with the families about character building, discipline and the importance of healthy habits.
Everyone was thrilled with the Globetrotters and each family received an 8 x 10 group print.
